Jo Harris studied the trumpet at the Royal Academy of Music, going on to win a Park Lane Group Young Artist Award. She enjoys working with contemporary composers and championing unjustly neglected music. A founder member of the ensemble Bella Tromba, she curated her own concert series ‘The Trumpet Shall Sound’.

Margaret Lingas earned her BMus in vocal performance with linguistics at the University of Victoria, Canada, where she studied with Benjamin Butterfield. Now based in Oxford, she sings with groups such as Papagena, Ex Cathedra, the Carice Singers, Echo, The Sixteen, Cappella Romana and the Tallis Scholars.

As well as being a successful concerto soloist, Daniel King Smith is a much sought after accompanist and chamber musician, having held staff accompanist posts at both Royal College of Music and Royal Academy of Music, and for the Countess of Munster Trust. He has made frequent BBC broadcasts including Proms performances and Young Musician of the Year.

Together the three musicians perform an exciting programme ranging across four hundred years from Monteverdi to Hovhanes, taking in show stoppers such as Handel’s Let The Bright Seraphim, Mozart’s Exsultate, Jubilate and Bizet’s Carmen Suite.
